The LitRate campaign is half over!

The LitRate Kickstarter campaign is half over, but we’ve not yet met the 50% mark for the funds! Please help us push to the 50% mark and finally to our goal of $16,000 by backing the campaign or just sending out a tweet about it. 🙂 Even $1 is enough to show your support!

I’m feeling better!

I was sick for nearly two bloody weeks! It was horrible! I couldn’t stand up or walk anywhere without feeling dizzy and/or nauseous. I couldn’t watch TV because the motion made it worse, and in the worst of it I couldn’t even use the computer too long. I’ve never felt like that in my life and it sucked big time. I felt like such an invalid.

Since it lasted so long I got some blood work done and it all came back normal, then shortly after I FINALLY started to feel better (around last weekend, the 9th/10th of August).

The thing that pisses me off the most is that my Couch to 5K goal just stopped. I wasn’t able to go to the gym so I didn’t make any progress! And now since it’s been like 3-4 weeks since I’ve been to the gym I feel like I need to backtrack in my schedule because I don’t feel confident that I can pick up where I left off (like week 6). Backtracking sucks. 🙁 And to think I was doing so well!!

RAGE!

Cuckoo

My husband and I have started watching a TV show called Cuckoo. It’s hilaaaarious! This show is now guaranteed to put me in a good mood. If you’re looking for a laugh, I highly recommend it!

    1. Gosh, I know. Thank goodness I didn’t book a lot of projects in August since I was going to work on premades. Otherwise my schedule would have been madness.

  1. Oh that sucks. I know how that feels. I’ve been dizzy For weeks and been to so many doctors. No one knows why. It it just come and goes. Good that you’re better. I’m training for a 10 and had to backtrack only a little. If go back to day one and then jump back to where you were. Just take it easy if you get tired. Can’t wait to see what you come up with next.

    1. I know!! None of the doctors knew what was wrong with me. One even came out and said, “I have no idea why you’re feeling this way. It’s probably just a virus.” Well, thanks. >_<

  2. I’m glad you’re feeling better! That really sucks that you were sick for so long. Those blog designs you did for others are really pretty too, I love the second one.
My week involved leaving my last job, going to orientation for a new better one, having lots of wedding stress and not much blogging.

    1. Thank you Kelsey! Being sick was horrible. I was so ready to just get better!

Good luck with the new job!! And try not to get too stressed about wedding stuff. 😉

  3. I’m glad you’re feeling better Ashley! It sucks to be sick and it sucks even more that your progress had to stop. The new designs are beautiful (as everything you do is!) I’ve never seen Cuckoo before, recently hubby and I have been watching Big Bang Theory and we loved it 🙂

  4. So glad to hear you’re feeling better – it sucks to not feel well. Don’t let it get you too down about your C25K – I had to pause mine for a bit and I found that I could move through my previous weeks by doing just one day of each workout (instead of 3) to build myself back up – it’s not like starting from scratch at all.

Keeping my fingers crossed (except when they’re busy tweeting) that LitRate will make it!

    1. Thanks Berls! That’s comforting. 🙂 I am going to go back maybe a week or two in my progress starting tomorrow and just see how it goes and how comfortable I feel.

  5. Gaah I still need to contribute to your campaign! I really will, I just haven’t had time to go buy one of those disposable credit card things. :3 I’m really glad you’re feeling better! And your designs look absolutely amazing!
