Prepping for Book Expo America!

Prepping for Book Expo America!

I am so incredibly thrilled that I will be attending Book Expo America this year! I honestly could not be more excited. So far I have six colour-coded schedule spreadsheets to take with me, and I’m already trying to plan what I’m going to bring and what I’m going to wear! I thought I’d do a little “so excited for BEA” post and highlight a few of the books I’m hoping to find there, and show off my business cards that I got printed just for the event!

Business Cards

And here are the business cards I made for BEA!

Nose Graze Business Cards for BEA

I love the way they turned out! They weren’t the cheapest cards in the world to make, but they feel like quality, professional cards and that’s what I love! They are 3x thicker than normal business cards, which means they’re not that easy to bend and they feel really solid. They also have awesome blue edges! Freaking love them!

Are you attending BEA?

If you’re attending BEA, let me know! Maybe we can arrange to meet up! 😀

    1. Haha 😛 I wish you could go!!! We need another signing together. Obviously BEA is more than a signing, but you know what I mean..

  1. Oh how I WISH!!! This is something Rachel and I would LOVE to do someday, but the airfare and hotel stay just makes it TOO much! I have heard of blogger pals staying all together in a big house together though so that would make it more affordable! Your list of wants is PERFECTION! I love it! 🙂 SO many I’m looking forward to! Hope you have a great time girlie! p.s. I love this background you’ve got going right now on the blog!

    1. Aw I wish you could make it! I’m not staying with any other bloggers, but I know of a few who have banded together like that. It’s such a great idea!!

    1. I’m totally cool with hugs!! 😀 I can’t wait to meet you Danny! I’m SOOO excited! Like, insanely!

  2. O.o Crown of MIDNIGHT!!!!! Need that book! Hope you find it! 🙂 *then I can “borrow” it from you* LOL. And I thought you didn’t like The Darkest Minds…Haha. 🙂

    1. Yeah I wasn’t crazy about The Darkest Minds, BUT it ended on a cool note and the author said she thought that book 2 might be more for me. 😀

I demand that your business cards say “Inkykins”. That is all.

  3. I definitely want to meet up, even if it’s only standing in the same line for a little bit. 😀 I’ll be on Twitter all the time for BEA, so just tweet at me or something!

As for your list– I’ve read several positive reviews for These Broken Stars so I’m hoping to get a signed copy and read it for myself!

    1. YAY that’s awesome!!! Fingers crossed that we’ll see each other. 😀 Assuming my new SIM card arrives in time, I’ll hopefully be tweeting too!

  4. I love your business cards! I love the dotted-line scribbles framing your name on back of the card. I think that’s really cute 😀 While I don’t plan on going to BEA anytime soon (too expensive for me), I just get excited for all the people that are going because it sounds like an amazing experience!

  5. I can’t read anymore posts about BEA, I’m so frickin’ jealous it’s not even funny. The worst part? I live in New York 🙁

Anywho, I’m totally digging that cover for The Truth That’s in Me, looks like the story is epic. Truthfully all of these books have some amazing covers. I thought The Originals was part 2 of the Burn For Burn series.

Your cards look amazing, your design skills knows no boundaries.
I hope you have tons of fun at BEA at in New York!

  6. We are list twins for sure! Hope we get to hang out at the Blogger Conference. Pretty sure I’m so in love with your site design that I want to marry it. In Vegas. With an Elvis impersonator officiating. Fat old Elvis with the eagle on his polyester jumpsuit. 🙂
