In the past I’ve never really kept a “reading list”. I’d finish a book, then go to my bookshelves and hunt for something new to read based on my mood. But lately I have actually started keeping a list of the books I’m really eager to get to. It’s not necessarily a fixed list that I insist I follow, but it’s definitely a guideline!
I’m weird about time travel books. I thought I didn’t like them, but now I’m thinking I do. The time travel book I read before Stolen Time was Invictus, which I adored! Now I read Stolen Time and loved this too!
I have a 50% off sale in my shop through Monday, so now is a great time to pick up Ultimate Book Blogger, Tweak Me v2 or any other product!
It’s been ages since I’ve posted anything here, so I thought I’d also highlight some of the books I read this month.
This fantasy book didn’t feel like a fantasy. I looked at that cover, read that synopsis, and had expectations. I envisioned an epic fantasy romance with Norse mythology. What I got… was pretty much a contemporary book.
First let me confess something: I liked but didn’t love The Remnant Chronicles. I ADORED the first book but then the series declined for me and I only gave the last book three stars. I think my main issue was it felt really religious. The […]

I first picked up Six of Crows in June 2015 and I’m very sad to report that I didn’t finish it. I read about 130 pages before quitting. I knew it wasn’t for an objective reason; I just wasn’t feeling it at the time and […]
I have a huge fear of missing out on limited edition books… even books and series I haven’t read yet! I know it’s ridiculous and not the end of the world if I do miss out, but I can’t talk myself out of it. Please […]
I wasn’t going to write anything about GDPR because I had it in my head that everyone has already said everything that needs to be said. There are loads of blog posts out there. But then I got several book bloggers talking to me on […]
Furyborn is a REALLY cool story with two different timelines that relate and intersect. The prologue shows you the outcome of Queen Rielle’s timeline, then chapter one takes you two years back to explain how events led up to that outcome. Then chapter two gives you Eliana’s point of view, which is a crazy 1,020 years later!
