Stacking the Shelves (64) – And a bit about my life story

For Review

I just started reading Waterfell. I really hope it’s good! I have a few worries so far, but I’m hoping it will pull through because I really want a great mermaid book!

My Life Story (Almost)

I thought I’d also use this post to talk a bit about me in response to a question I received through my form:

Hello Ashley,
I am really enjoying your blog and trying to figure out how to do one in the first place. I am really interested in knowing about your life in the UK. What percentage are you in the US vs UK? I live in the US, but I love the UK. And…how do you make money blogging? Thank you! πŸ™‚

Rebecca Kennedy

Hi Rebecca! πŸ˜€

I’m originally from the US. In my first year of college, I fell in love with a Brit! Halfway through my second year of college, I begged and pleaded my parents to let me transfer to a new school in England so I could be closer to him. Amazingly, they gave in, so I packed up and moved to England. I had to start over at a new university there at year one, but that’s how I ended up going back and forth between the US and the UK. I’m in the US over summer break, month-long Christmas break, and month-long spring break, and I’m in the UK during term time. πŸ™‚

Also, the boyfriend and I have been together almost 4 years now, which is awesome!

I’ll save the making money blogging part of your question for another time!

Have an awesome weekend!

  1. Naw!!! Ash you sound so happy it makes me giddy! Congrats on your 4 years! That must be hard, being so far away from home (I totally understand that!) but you must be having an amazing time – with an amazing person too!

Hope you enjoy Waterfell. I just finished it, and it wasn’t as great as I thought it would be, but I enjoyed it nonetheless!!
