The worldwide phenomenon continues as Eva and Gideon face the demons of their pasts, and accept the consequences of their obsessive desires...

From the moment I first met Gideon Cross, I recognized something in him that I needed. Something I couldn't resist. I saw the dangerous and damaged soul insideβ€”so much like my own. I was drawn to it. I needed him as surely as I needed my heart to beat.

No one knows how much he risked for me. How much I'd been threatened, or just how dark and desperate the shadow of our pasts would become.

Entwined by our secrets, we tried to defy the odds. We made our own rules and surrendered completely to the exquisite power of possession...

Entwined with You is the kind of book that I absolutely adore: the one that gives you butterflies in your stomach and makes you giggle insanely. There is nothing in the world better than that! (Except coding god.)

First thing first: it’s pretty important that you remember what happened in Reflected in You. It had been so long since I’d read book #2, that I’d actually forgotten everything. There’s very little recap in Entwined with You so if you don’t remember what happened in the previous book, check out this post that details the Reflected in You series of events. It was so helpful to me!

As some of you may know, I wasn’t too crazy about Reflected in You. I felt like Eva and Gideon had suddenly stopped communicating and so many things just felt petty. But luckily, I felt like Entwined with You took us back to the epicness that was Bared to You. It was just pure enjoyment for me! I was swooning over Gideon, getting teary during the sad moments, and smiling and blushing during the happy ones. My emotions were EVERYWHERE!!!

Although Eva and Gideon’s relationship isn’t perfect, I felt like they both made tremendous efforts in Entwined with You. Their communication came back! They talked about their problems, addressed each other when they were upset, and didn’t sit there playing stupid “guess what I’m thinking or else you’re a jerk” mind games, which are so common in romances these days. Eva and Gideon have this pure, raw, undeniable attraction to each other, but it’s more than that too.

“I put my greedy hands all over you. I defile you. And you love it.”

And, as you would expect, the sex was freaking hot! Entwined with You is the boil your blood, curl your toes, drool a little kind of sexy. I love how Entwined with You had such a great balance between intense, dripping with lust sex scenes; and sweet, romantic, intimate moments. There’s so much passion and chemistry between Eva and Gideon, but there’s also romance and love there.

“I want to be with you, listen to you, talk to you. I want to hear you laugh and hold you when you cry. I want to sit next to you, breathe the same air, share the same life. I want to wake up to you like this every day forever. I want you.”

Entwined with You had me feeling ALL THE FEELS! My heart fluttered, my face flushed, and overall I just loved the crap out of this book!

One thing I didn’t realize going into the book was that Entwined with You is not the last book in the series. I honestly thought it was! But it’s not. I sort of have a love/hate relationship with this fact. On the one hand, I’m delighted that we’ll be getting to read more of Eva and Gideon! But on the other hand, I feel like I just want them to have their happily ever after. If there are more books, that means there are more obstacles. I feel like I have gotten to know and love these characters so much that I just want them to retire to the Caribbean and have a perfect, sweet, problem-free happily ever after.. LOL.

The Verdict

    1. It’s something I’ve coded into my theme. πŸ™‚ It’s not very easy to explain in a comment though. πŸ˜€

    1. I think you would LOVE this series (as long as you’re okay with the initial plot being very similar to 50 Shades). You should get on it!

  1. Yay I’m glad you loved this one! I don’t think I’m going to read it (since it’s erotica and I haven’t read the first two books ;D) but I probably will be passing it on to someone who may really want it! It sounds like a really fantastic book, though, fantastic review, Ashley! I bet it was worth waiting in line for it πŸ˜€

    1. Yes, I’m so glad I waited in line!! πŸ˜€ I’m sure whoever you pass it onto will love it! <3

    1. Exactly how I feel lol! They’re so awesome together and I just want them to have their happily ever after! Entwined with You does bring them close though. πŸ˜‰

  2. Not the last book in the series? Really? I didn’t know that. :/ I feel sorry for the characters when authors don’t let them be happy together and torture them with problems.
I started reading ‘Entwined with You’ but I read a lot of ya recently and now this book feels like it’s so full of sex. o.O I can read/take it only in small doses. πŸ˜€
