New Battlestation!

I’m starting to officially move in with Coding God, so I’ve been bringing a bunch of my stuff over. Last weekend we tackled The PC! This meant I had to buy a desk (still waiting on a chair). But we actually had to take the train from Cambridge to London (where my PC was), then carry the PC and two monitors back on the train to Cambridge! Poor Coding God’s arms are still aching! (He did all the tough bits.)

But now we’ve got a pretty sweet setup (minus one chair):

Request books from indie authors

I have launched the latest feature on BookBlogging.net. Now self-published authors can upload review copies of their books onto the site, and bloggers can request access. Think like NetGalley but for self-published authors! Check out the information page to learn more. And be sure to spread the word to your indie author friends so we can start getting some books on there!

  1. Lmao, your search terms! “does my ex still like me if she accepts my friend request” hahahaa at least I know where to go for relationship advice now, right? ;D

Your battlestation looks awesome!! I need to get me a nice new chair, but I’m too cheap *sighs*

DAUGHTER OF SMOKE AND BONE! I love that one, I hope you do too! I love that cover for Plus One, but I thought her other book was awful so I don’t know if I want to read it or not yet. I also need to get to Mila 2.0…I’ve been putting it off forever, and it’s a review book! I don’t know why…

    1. Thanks!! I’m really excited about my new chair, but it won’t arrive for like 8 weeks. πŸ™ It should be epic though. At least it better be because it was damn expensive! LOL.

Ohh bummer that you didn’t like her other book D: Now I’m worried! Such a cool cover though.

  2. I’m quite taken with your double monitors! I have a coding god of my own who used to do that but after two years of traveling and a house move, he’s stuck with the Giant Laptop That Crashes for now. Happy nest-making!

    1. Aww bummer about the laptop! I can’t imagine ever *not* using two monitors! It’s so hard to go back to just one after you’ve had two.

  3. warning because my comment is going to suck capitalization-wise because i still don’t have internet and have to comment via my phone:

  5. Your battlestation is *sigh* so freaking awesome and I had to drag myself away from staring at it to write it and omg you are so lucky because just looking at it gets me all excited! πŸ˜€ Good luck with the moving in and the wedding! I’m so happy for you both <3

LOL your search terms! 'Erotic nose' is probably the funniest!

  6. Love the battlestation! I don’t play PC games (well, not since like 1999 haha), but my husband and I have an XBOX/PlayStation setup in both the living room and office, so I feel ya there. ;]

Also, love the “indie author NetGalley” for BookBlogging.net! I’m gonna go peruse it now! You’re doing some really outstanding things with BB.net. πŸ˜€

  7. You’ve had a busy week! Luckily I got a paperback this last week (a prize from an internet contest) because we were without power for oh, 5 days or so? Actually, I got two copies of the book, sent on two different days. Hubby said, “E-bay!” I said, “Re-giveaway!” :O)

    1. So far I’ve heard really good things about On the Fence! (Not that I expected anything less from Kasie West ♥)

  8. *snickers* “site:nosegraze.com drug”??! Are you launching something new there? XD Oh gosh, there are some seriously random people in the world. And that’s a super cool computer set up! But, in all seriousness…have you got enough computers? Sure you don’t need a few more? Hehe. I love the haul! I hope you like Cress. It’s been one of my favourite reads of the year. πŸ™‚
