The Perfect Cover (8) – The Elite

The Elite by Kiera Cass - The Perfect Cover

I already drooled over and raved about the beautiful cover of The Selection by Kiera Cass. Now it’s time to gush about the cover of book #2: The Elite. The covers are pretty similar and I just know that they will look GORGEOUS next to each other on my bookshelf! I adore the new orangey-red vibe, and the model looks gorgeous but a little unsure or hesitant at the same time. A sneak peak of what’s to come??

    1. Oh my god, girl!! Get on it!! LOL! πŸ˜› I loved The Selection! Although I might start to have issues with the love triangle.. PRINCE MAXON FTW!!

      1. Okay okay I will. πŸ˜€ Bug me on twitter or my blog. I NEED TO READ IT. I want to. I just haven’t. Ugh, what a LAME excuse. Haha. I’ve heard so much good! Wants to read. Wants to read…Needs to read….

  1. These covers are so gorgeous I want to throw something. It seems that gorgeous dress covers are certainly a trend in YA, but hey, they’re stunning, so I’m not complaining. (Though variety sometimes is nice.) I’m not sure which of the two covers I like more, but they’re both amazing, so I can’t choose! Too bad I’ve heard pretty bad things about the books themselves. I have a copy of The Selection waiting to be read but right now all the use it’s gotten is me staring at it.

    1. Haha! You should read it at some point! I think The Selection is very much a love it or hate it kind of book. I personally loved it! The only iffy thing for me was the love triangle that started to develop. I’m curious to see what happens in book 2 though. πŸ˜› I was so upset when the book ended!

  2. Dont get me wrong the cover is really great but… The summary havent made me yet to read it.. Now days all we look is the covers and we skip in a way the summary! Supposed this to be the other way around? πŸ™

    1. Aww, bummer! I’m sorry the summary hasn’t really hooked you. πŸ™ I think this series applies to the girly giddy side in me that likes competitions and hot princes LOL!
