Top Ten Favorite Book Covers Of Books I’ve Read

Top Ten Tuesday

I am a cover whore. I judge books by their cover. I can’t help it. Pretty things make me smile and giggle. So I’m here to share ten of my favourite book covers of books I’ve read! Strap in and sit tight because we’re going to see buckets of pure awesomeness.

The Selection by Kiera Cass

I still remember the first time I saw the cover of The Selection. I’ve always been addicted to it! The gorgeous colours, that awesome background effect that looks like some kind of crazy mirror.. It’s just gorgeous.

The Elite by Kiera Cass

The Elite has more pretty colours and more pretty gowns… I love it!

Everneath by Brodi Ashton

That crazy flowy dress and how it blends into the smokey cloud is what makes the cover of Everneath absolutely stunning!

Asunder by Jodi Meadows

Asunder has a gorgeous model and the colours are to die for! I also really like the flowery mask thing.

Splintered by A.G. Howard

Splintered has one of the most gorgeous covers to ever walk this earth. It’s eye-catching and beautiful, but the best part is the detail. I love all the little critters that blend in, and the way nature kind of consumes the model. You have to look at a larger version of this cover to fully appreciate it!

September Girls by Bennett Madison

Other bloggers and I have already established that September Girls is a horrible book content-wise, but oh my god the cover is GORGEOUS! I love how unfocused it is and the sharp contrast between the dark silhouettes and the light background is stunning. It’s a shame the book itself wasn’t good too. πŸ™

That Time I Joined The Circus by J.J. Howard

Nothing like an adorable circus book to make you happy! That Time I Joined The Circus definitely fits the bill. Gorgeous colours, glowing lights, ELEPHANTS… come on! And a beautiful starry sky. It’s perfect!

Mystic City by Theo Lawrence

Mystic City also has pretty lights! Yes, I think I’m a pretty, glowy light addict. I like the subtle colours and grunge feel to it.

Ashes and Ice by Rochelle Maya Callen

Ashes and Ice – The ice, the ice, the ice!! The awesome ice says it all, my friends.

Vain by Fisher Amelie

I think one of the reasons I love Vain is because the glass reminds me of the ice in Ashes and Ice. The glass is cool, I like the model, and the simple blurry background really makes the rest pop!

  1. The Selection is also on my list! πŸ˜€ Everneath and Splintered are gorgeous too, but since I haven’t read them yet, they’re not on my list. (And the topic is Top Ten favorite books of books I’ve Read, so..)

  2. Those are some really AWESOME covers!!! I love whimsy looking covers a lot of the time. Like Time Between Us. Or covers that at dark and defined. Or just plain simple and beautiful covers. For example: Starstruck by Rachel Schukert. I love the look and feel of that. Anyway. I approve of your choices!! I heart them ALL.

  3. Ashes & Ice is absolutely gorgeous. The cover was one of the main reasons I bought it (still need to read it). I also picked Splintered! The detail and vibrancy is amazing πŸ™‚ And Mystic City! I never noticed those towers before because I’ve never seen it in high resolution o.O
Fantastic picks! You can check out mine here if you want.

  4. So bummed about September Girls! I’m keeping my arc even though I’m not reading it because the cover is just so dang gorgeous.
I think I’m the only one that thinks the cover for Splintered is not pretty. I think it’s kind of weird. I still have to read the book…
    Great picks!
