I am so incredibly thrilled that I will be attending Book Expo America this year! I honestly could not be more excited. So far I have six colour-coded schedule spreadsheets to take with me, and I’m already trying to plan what I’m going to bring and what I’m going to wear! I thought I’d do a little “so excited for BEA” post and highlight a few of the books I’m hoping to find there, and show off my business cards that I got printed just for the event!
Books I’m Hoping to Find at BEA
Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas
All the Truth That’s in Me by Julie Berry
Tumble & Fall by Alexandra Coutts
Antigoddess by Kendare Blake
Frozen by Melissa de la Cruz and Michael Johnston
Teardrop by Lauren Kate
Across a Star-Swept Sea by Diana Peterfreund
These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner
The Dollhouse Asylum by Mary Gray
The Originals by Cat Patrick
Altered by Gennifer Albin
Never Fade by Alexandra Bracken
And here are the business cards I made for BEA!
I love the way they turned out! They weren’t the cheapest cards in the world to make, but they feel like quality, professional cards and that’s what I love! They are 3x thicker than normal business cards, which means they’re not that easy to bend and they feel really solid. They also have awesome blue edges! Freaking love them!
Are you attending BEA?
If you’re attending BEA, let me know! Maybe we can arrange to meet up! 😀
I am attending!!!! Email me at bhwrn1(at) gmail (dot) com. I would love to meet up! I am always looking to connect with other bloggers!
Yaaay awesome! 😀 I hope I see you there!
I might have to kill you and take your place. Crap, I revealed myself to soon. Must think of a other plan!
Waaaahhh! I wanna go. But no, it’s a no-go this year.
Love the business cards.
Haha 😛 I wish you could go!!! We need another signing together. Obviously BEA is more than a signing, but you know what I mean..
Oh how I WISH!!! This is something Rachel and I would LOVE to do someday, but the airfare and hotel stay just makes it TOO much! I have heard of blogger pals staying all together in a big house together though so that would make it more affordable! Your list of wants is PERFECTION! I love it! 🙂 SO many I’m looking forward to! Hope you have a great time girlie! p.s. I love this background you’ve got going right now on the blog!
Aw I wish you could make it! I’m not staying with any other bloggers, but I know of a few who have banded together like that. It’s such a great idea!!
I’ll be there sat. Very excited!
Hopefully I’ll see you there! 😀
Ashley!! I cannot wait to finally meet you and hug you!! I’m a hugger so warn me if you are not :))
Anyway the list of books you want looks pretty similar to mine and … I think TEARDROP is seriously top 3 on my list. Plus Wild Card from Simone Ekeles…
Only one more week!!!! Squeals!
I’m totally cool with hugs!! 😀 I can’t wait to meet you Danny! I’m SOOO excited! Like, insanely!
I love your business cards! I’m excited to go to BEA for the first time this year 🙂
It will be my first time too! 😀
I’ll be there! Cannot wait for this week to be over 🙁
I have a few of these books in by list as well, but on top are Wild Cards and The Bitter Kingdom.
Yaaay! Maybe I’ll see you, Liza! 😀
Those are some rockin’ business cards! Have fun at BEA! Totally wish I could go. Hopefully I’ll be able to go next year.
O.o Crown of MIDNIGHT!!!!! Need that book! Hope you find it! 🙂 *then I can “borrow” it from you* LOL. And I thought you didn’t like The Darkest Minds…Haha. 🙂
Dude I love the business cards, I really need to get some…last Inky….yup.
You are gonna have so much fun!! I’m so psyched for you!!! Can’t wait to hear about it!!!
Yeah I wasn’t crazy about The Darkest Minds, BUT it ended on a cool note and the author said she thought that book 2 might be more for me. 😀
I demand that your business cards say “Inkykins”. That is all.
Well it looks awesome. BAHAHA. YES. DUDE. THAT WOULD BE SO AWESOME. I should make silly business cards. Lol.
I wish to go there for Never Fade, but I live tooo far from America T_T
Have fun in BEA! 🙂
Love the ouroboros on the Frozen title. I’m attending this year, all the days! I’ll be the lass with the hedgehog on her bag and business cards.
I definitely want to meet up, even if it’s only standing in the same line for a little bit. 😀 I’ll be on Twitter all the time for BEA, so just tweet at me or something!
As for your list– I’ve read several positive reviews for These Broken Stars so I’m hoping to get a signed copy and read it for myself!
YAY that’s awesome!!! Fingers crossed that we’ll see each other. 😀 Assuming my new SIM card arrives in time, I’ll hopefully be tweeting too!
I love your business cards! I love the dotted-line scribbles framing your name on back of the card. I think that’s really cute 😀 While I don’t plan on going to BEA anytime soon (too expensive for me), I just get excited for all the people that are going because it sounds like an amazing experience!
Your business cards are gorgeous! I hope you have fun at BEA; I can’t say I’m not INSANELY jealous 😉
I can’t read anymore posts about BEA, I’m so frickin’ jealous it’s not even funny. The worst part? I live in New York 🙁
Anywho, I’m totally digging that cover for The Truth That’s in Me, looks like the story is epic. Truthfully all of these books have some amazing covers. I thought The Originals was part 2 of the Burn For Burn series.
Your cards look amazing, your design skills knows no boundaries.
I hope you have tons of fun at BEA at in New York!
I wish I could go – but it won’t happen this year 🙁 I will do my best to be able to go next year, though – it’s like the top expo I’d love to participate in. I’m sure you’ll have a blast!
Your business cards are made of awesome! I love the blue edges, and they look really classy, just like you 🙂
We are list twins for sure! Hope we get to hang out at the Blogger Conference. Pretty sure I’m so in love with your site design that I want to marry it. In Vegas. With an Elvis impersonator officiating. Fat old Elvis with the eagle on his polyester jumpsuit. 🙂
Thanks Steph! 😀 I hope we see each other!
